The story

As we celebrate Architecture, humans of architecture should be admired too. As each architectural work and project has a story so each architect has its own narrative.  As we build architecture we also acknowledge that architecture “build” in us new territories.So the project Humans of Architecture was born:  a digital platform associated to share-architects to celebrate the Architects among us.

ANDREEA ROBU-MOVILĂ

ANDREEA ROBU-MOVILĂ is currently a PhD student and a teaching assistant at “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture, Bucharest. She have graduated from „G.M.Cantacuzino” Faculty of Architecture, Iaşi, Romania.

As a student she laid the foundations of the “Arhitectura Celuilalt. Concurs pentru tineri cu gânduri către lume” (“Architecture of Alterity: Contest for Young People with Thoughts to the World” (arhitecturaceluilalt.ro), the architectural critical discourse contest  for students and young people under 30 from Romania.  Year by year, the contest has grown in impact and relevance, being a non-formal education initiative, which retrieves the mission of germinating a critical and theoretical apparatus among  young architects and among  “others” with respect to architecture. Arhitectura Celuilalt’s community number over 1,000 friends, and in autum 2019  a volume that includes the best texts from the 200 papers submitted to the competition during the four editions will be published.

In 2013 she has been awarded the 1st Place at INSPIRED Architecture Design Contest and in 2014 she won the 1st Place at ISUCCES Contest Croatia and a Travel Fellowship to  Rome offered by Romanian Academy from Rome, Italy. Andreea Robu-Movilă was for two times a finalist at East Centric Triennial  in 2013 (president of the jury : Juhanni Pallasma) and 2016 (president of the jury : Prof. Alberto Pérez-Gómez). In 2015 she obtained a Travel Fellowship from Berkeley University, SUA  and in 2016 won the 3rd Prize of International Stage of  ISOVER Multi-Comfort Students Contest Housing development in Brest, Belarus.

 

From 2017 she is a collaborator of SHARE-Architects, co-editor of the editorial project  Designing The Profile of the Future Architect”, senior associate of SHARE Architects Society and executive manager of the Consultative  Council of Architects in Central and Eastern Europe (CCA -CEE).

EUSEBIA MINDIRIGIU

Eusebia Mindirigiu is the founding director of ABplus events, a communication agency founded in 1997, working at the heart of the design, architecture and property sectors in Center and Eastern Europe. Eusebia has played a pivotal role in the creation of content and communication strategies for hundreds of cultural and architecture events.

In 2013 she has founded Pro Event Cultural Association which has the goal to ensure the access to culture for different categories of audience by organizing specific events, providing and developing forms of continuous education of specialists from different professional fields, empowering and increasing the active participation of citizens in order to contribute to community development, civic education and involvement of children and young people in community life, organization of awareness campaigns and promotion of cultural themes, ideas and values, through actions to support dialogue and cultural exchange.

NESILA HAJDINI

Nesila has been a professional architect for 10 years. She graduated from Mimar Sinan University, in Architectural Design. She pursued her Master’s degree at Polytechnic University of Catalonia, ETSAB, focusing on Urban Acupuncture, as the right methodology to revive her native city, inspired by the model implemented in Barcelona’s urban development.

She has a great curiosity for innovation, not only to how architecture is created but also to the way that architecture is transmitted to both professionals and clients, an interest which was materialized in the Albanian platform for architecture and design, www.pikark.com.

She is interested in providing a useful tool to help the workflow of architects and create content to inspire and educate with the purpose to enhance the overall design quality.  

ARCHITECT, GRAPHIC DESIGNER

DARIJA DVOJAKOVSKA

Young enthusiast with soon to have a master degree in architecture and design. Traveler, hedonist, strong-willed architect in the making with a desire to be and experience something more than ordinary. Even though “the grass is greener on the other side” and by grass, I mean architecture, technology, construction business and appreciation of the profession is at a much higher level in other countries, I strive to make a small difference in the city where I was born, Skopje.
